Après avoir suivi les cours hebdomadaire de Paris Meisner Studio (et de continuer à le faire, d’ailleurs), je me suis laissé tenté par Meisner & Coaching Systémique. J’avais envie de plus approfondir le travail réalisé auparavant. :) J’étais très curieux de voir les passerelles qu’Octave allait effectuer dans le cours entre la technique Meisner et la psychologie et l'hypnose. Je n’ai pas du tout été déçu, au contraire. Premièrement, son cours m’a permis de clarifier les différentes approches de la répétition. En effet, selon, les professeurs l’exercice peut prendre des formes différentes. C’était très confusant pour moi. La clarification d’Octave m’ permis de comprendre les différences et les ressemblances. Ce qui est essentiel de ce qui ne l’est pas. C’est aussi un excellent espace pour les pratiquer et voir les différents effets qu’elles sont sur nous. Ça, c’est le premier point. Deuxièmement, la partie entre le travail de l’imaginaire et la psychologique (PNL, Hypnose) a été génial pour mieux comprendre comment notre imaginaire fonctionne et comment la développer. Par exemple, quand nous travaillions les activités en cours, nous devions avoir des circonstances imaginaires qui nous poussent à les réaliser. J’avais parfois des difficultés à créer les miennes afin d’être profondément impacté. Ces cours ont été fantastique pour avoir les outils en mains. Le processus est clair, simple et facile. Il reste ensuite à travailler. D’ailleurs, j’ai réussi à avoir une activité qui m’a plus impacté que la majorité des activités travaillées que j’ai travaillé dans un temps plus court. Ça, c’est le deuxième point. Je recommande chaudement ! :D

A mon retour des Etats Unis, j'ai longtemps cherché où continuer ma formation. Après avoir fait des stages dans plusieurs écoles parisiennes, et différentes approches de "Meisner" j'ai vraiment pu comprendre et approfondir cette technique ainsi que l'utiliser dans mon travail grâce aux programmes de Paris Meisner Studio.

I was super blown away by this experience. There is not a lot of Meisner options, and English speaking classes in Paris so I was excited classes at Paris Meisner Studio. I learned so much and had a blast. Got to work with a top LA instructor (Shout out to Anthony Montes!) and got to work with an extremely talented camera crew. I loved every minute of it and cannot wait to return! Thank you so much for organizing this in Paris!! -Michelle

Je recommande à fond! On a la possibilité de découvrir et approfondir la méthode Meisner avec des enseignants vraiment professionnels et doués! Sans oublier la dimension internationale du travail et des cours, c'est aussi une très belle expérience humaine avec les autres actrices et acteurs qui participent!

I’m really glad I took classes here, even if it was for a short time and I was nervous, It was the best experience I’ve ever had! I learned a lot, It was fun! Mark And tracy are truly amazing , And so is octave. Not always easy but it’s worth it! :) I’d recommend it to every1!

The workshops with Chris Mack at Paris Meisner Studio are focused on capturing the moment you’re offering as an actor, and running it through the eyes of acting coaches and fellow actors. Unlike most acting schools in Paris, Paris Meisner Studio focuses on the practical aspect of acting by showing you how your character looks on the screen, by offering you that hands-on experience with the relationship between you and your character, with other actors, and with the camera. Everyone of us thinks we can pull out a certain character, but the decision is not ours to make. It is the camera that decides if your energy is the right one, if your lines flow or if your body posture is natural. The workshops benefit from the technology Paris Meisner Studio has, and every one of them feels like a real shooting. With every one of them I grew more as an actor than at any other time in my life. Just seeing what I’m doing, understanding the pluses and minuses helped me hold on to my character longer, more coherently so that the director and the editor have a lot of material to work with. All in all this is a great environment in which friendships are built and characters are crafted. Right now I don’t want to take another acting class without a camera and a screen. This works!
